Approvals form a vital element in Cohero's core set of capabilities. Smooth approvals are vital to our client's operational success. Up until now, however, we felt that we weren't delivering on the promise to have an effecitve and actionable 'birds eye view' on all approval requests. The list on the homepage posed too many functional limitations
We decided to introduce a strong capability to view all approval requests. And better yet, to introduce it in such a way, that the approver actually feels more informed
going in
, by understanding when the approval was initiated, and by understanding the general state of the approval workflow for this particular asset. To this end, we designed a dedicated Approvals
page in the workspace navigation. 
What challenge does it address?
People overseeing the quality or compliance domain have a need to understand the open workload, and to see the work that's comgin in the near term. The approvers themselves would benefit from understanding the general progress of the approval worfklow too (and to see the path traveled up to that point)
How can this help you?
Users can now see and analyze all the approvals that are outstanding, and can see the approval requests due in the near future. They can also see the approvals that have taken place, and see all the responses. A dedicated 'Approval workflow' column also provides a general status at a glance of the approval process. With this information in their pocket, approvers can start their work with more confidence.
