We've made efforts to give users more freedom to control the relation between assets and projects. An asset's relation to a project is
optional
. Assets can be created in the context of a project, but they can also be created or managed outside that project's context - just inside the space they sit in. By the same token, an asset can be associated to a project in a later stage, or moved to a different project.Cohero's now offering the ability to its users,
add
assets to projects, to remove
assets from projects, and to change
assets from one project to another. In addition, we've added better ways for users to see
to which project an asset is related - directly on the asset page, and on the asset card itself. Visual 1
Asset card's action menu now offers 'Add to project' (if no project is associated yet), 'Change Project' (if the asset is
associated to a project) and 'View in project' (to take the user straight to the project page containing that asset. The same options are offered in the action menu of the asset page itself:
Visual 2
An easy dialog offers the options to pick a project, or to unselect the current project - it comes with an easy search function, which is helpful when that space has many projects.
Visual 3
The asset info's metadata
section has expanded to now also reflect the associated project
